FAST Thermal Bracket Offset Shelf Angle Support - Standard and Lintel Brackets

We're excited to see the completed façade on Miramar, two interconnected, mixed-use buildings that include residential apartments, retail space, and a performing arts center in Inwood, Manhattan. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, the building will provide 698 units, with nearly 85,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities.

Our FERO FAST Thermal Bracket™ - Standard, and FAST Thermal Bracket™ Offset Shelf Angle – Lintel, provided an offset shelf angle design on this project, substantially reducing the quantity of steel required for brickwork support compared to traditional shelf angles. This not only sped up installation and reduced costs, but also enhanced the energy efficiency of the entire masonry wall assembly.

Overview

Greenpoint Landing is a 22-acre master-planned development site located on the Brooklyn waterfront with a view of the Manhattan skyline, bringing a mix of ten residential towers and low-rise buildings, a new public school, and four acres of parkland. The buildings are located on reclaimed industrial use lands, and the brick veneer utilized in the building design provides continuity with the historical neighborhood.
