FAST Thermal Bracket Offset Shelf Angle Support
425 Grand Concourse is the largest Passive House development in North America to date

The 26-floor project rises high above the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx and will be a new mixed-use and mixed-income development for low- and moderate-income families.

This is one of many Passive House projects FERO is part of throughout North America. FERO FAST Thermal Bracket Offset Shelf Angle Supports are part of the high-efficiency building envelope system providing an energy efficient, thermally-broken shelf angle support system that exceeds the requirements of NYC Energy Conservation Code 2020.  425 Grand Concourse will also surpass the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria and incorporate NYC Active Design Guidelines.

Overview

Greenpoint Landing is a 22-acre master-planned development site located on the Brooklyn waterfront with a view of the Manhattan skyline, bringing a mix of ten residential towers and low-rise buildings, a new public school, and four acres of parkland. The buildings are located on reclaimed industrial use lands, and the brick veneer utilized in the building design provides continuity with the historical neighborhood.
