2505 Broadway is a 19-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Designed by ODA Architecture LPC, the 75,000-square-foot structure stands 210 feet tall and will yield a total of 44 residential units as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

This project encompasses large cavities, curved walls and unique architectural details which FERO products accommodated while ensuring the superior thermal performance of the building envelope.  Working with ODA Architects and Thornton Thomasetti, FERO designed and engineered a custom, cost-effective, thermally-broken FAST Thermal Bracket™ Offset Shelf Angle Lintel Support System to accommodate the unique curved edges of brickwork.  Using our FERO Thermal Tie™ Masonry Connector - Rap-Tie® together with the custom FAST Thermal Brackets produced a comprehensive, cost-effective and thermally-efficient masonry wall system.

Overview

Greenpoint Landing is a 22-acre master-planned development site located on the Brooklyn waterfront with a view of the Manhattan skyline, bringing a mix of ten residential towers and low-rise buildings, a new public school, and four acres of parkland. The buildings are located on reclaimed industrial use lands, and the brick veneer utilized in the building design provides continuity with the historical neighborhood.
